RHR Development focuses on lower middle market & middle market commercial real estate opportunities, with expertise in both ground-up development and value-add repositioning. We take on projects across a range of asset types, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial, tailoring our approach to meet market demand and investor objectives. Our team also specializes in acquiring and transforming distressed or failed projects, guiding them to successful completion. Through deep market knowledge, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving, we turn challenges into opportunities — enhancing property values, strengthening neighborhoods, and delivering results.

Get to Know Our Team

Rick Rauch

Rick brings over 28 years of comprehensive development and construction experience to RHR Development, having successfully overseen more than $300 million in commercial projects throughout his career. His expertise spans the complete development lifecycle, from initial site evaluation and entitlements through construction completion and project delivery. As Development Director, Rick leads project execution and construction operations, ensuring quality delivery and strategic oversight of RHR's affordable housing portfolio.

Rick's career progression from field operations to executive leadership gives him a unique perspective on both the practical and strategic aspects of development. He has built and led development departments from the ground up, managed complex multi-state projects, and successfully navigated the regulatory landscape across multiple markets. His experience includes managing international teams, implementing enterprise-wide technology solutions, and delivering projects ranging from boutique developments to large-scale commercial complexes.

Prior to co-founding RHR Development, Rick served as Development Principal for The Lati2ude Group and Director of Projects and Construction for GreenSpace Self-Storage, where he led the development of Class A facilities across multiple states. His leadership approach is guided by strong personal values and faith-based principles, emphasizing integrity and excellence in all business relationships. At RHR Development, Rick is committed to delivering quality affordable housing solutions that strengthen communities while providing solid returns for investors.

Drew Haney

Drew Haney is an entrepreneur and founder of Rooster Capital LLC, with a strong track record in vacant land investing. A former Army officer, Drew brings strategic discipline and vision to land development and subdivision projects. He’s completed over 700 land deals across 30+ states, demonstrating deep market knowledge and consistent execution. Drew currently funds about 15 flips per month and is managing six active minor subdivisions. He recently launched a podcast, The Other Side of Enough, where he shares insights on life, business, and purpose. Guided by his core values—faith, family, and freedom—Drew builds strong partnerships and leads projects that create lasting impact.

Sam Rehbock

Sam Rehbock is a distinguished professional in the commercial real estate sector, with a career spanning over five years. As the manager of the commercial real estate brokerage division at Southwest Urban, a leading real estate firm in Phoenix, Arizona, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, from client acquisition to transaction management. His strategic vision and deep market knowledge have been pivotal in driving the division's success and fostering long-term client relationships.

With extensive experience in financial modeling, Sam brings a unique blend of financial acumen and real estate expertise to his role. His deep understanding of real estate deal structures, particularly in development, acquisition, and project recapitalization, has been instrumental in navigating the complexities of the industry and delivering value to clients. Outside of work, Sam is an avid sports enthusiast, having previously played hockey at a competitive level, and he enjoys various outdoor activities, reflecting his energetic and balanced approach to life.

Marissa Taylor

Marissa Taylor serves as Partner and Controller at RHR Development, bringing a diverse and dynamic background to the firm’s financial and administrative operations. Her career began in the U.S. Air Force, followed by several years dedicated to family before re-entering the workforce with a focused drive to make a mark in real estate. Marissa quickly gained traction in the mortgage sector before being recruited into a real estate development firm, where she led the accounting team and honed her financial acumen.

She later co-founded a successful investment venture, completing numerous real estate flips and land deals with her brother. Marissa’s leadership is defined by her deep Christian faith, operational excellence, and a passion for building high-performing teams. At RHR Development, she ensures that financial systems are efficient, transparent, and aligned with the company’s vision.
